Wish List

If you would like to donate items off our wish list, our doors are open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at 4300 S. Harvard. If you have any questions, please call 918.508.2709 or e-mail info@dvis.org.

Shelter and Transitional Living

  • New couches for the shelter
  • New towels and wash cloths
  • New sleeping bags and egg crate mattresses (twin size)
  • New sheets (twin size), pillows, plastic mattress covers, blankets
  • New children's toys and books - all ages. No electronics please.
  • Generic items for women (gift cards, beauty and hair supplies, perfumes, make up, Bath and Body Works lotions, gels and sprays, nail polish, tote bags, gloves, journals)
  • New underwear, bras and socks for women and their children (all sizes)
  • New sweat suits, size M-XL
  • Alarm clocks
  • Umbrellas
  • Laundry detergent
  • Vacuum cleaner - hand held and upright
  • Over the counter medication for adults and children...cold, flu, allergy, pain reliever, Neosporin, etc.
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Baby items such as diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, etc. for shelter residents and outpatient clients
  • Toiletry Items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner (full size and/or travel)

Counseling/S.A.N.E Exams
  • Copier machine
  • Underwear and socks for women and their children for sexual assault victims to wear home from the hospital...all sizes (new items only, please)
  • Sweat suits and socks for rape survivors to wear home following a S.A.N.E. exam, as they have to give their clothes to law enforcement for evidence
  • Baby items such as diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, etc.
  • Art supplies for the therapeutic children's program...markers, crayons, drawing paper, craft items, etc.
  • Non-perishable food items such as individual snacks, juice boxes, and canned goods
  • Furniture for survivor's group counseling rooms, chairs, tables, televisions, VCR's
Administrative
  • Volunteers to answer the crisis line, serve as court advocates, work in the office, serve as hospital advocates, help with special events, etc.
  • Art supplies for the therapeutic children's program...markers, crayons, drawing paper, craft items, etc.
