DVIS/Call Rape relies on community support of both cash and in-kind contributions to support counseling, shelter and advocacy for children, women and men in need of our services.

Local Verizon employees participated in a Shower for the Shelter to collect needed supplies for DVIS/Call Rape. Items included clothing, towels, sheets, personal items, household supplies and toys.

This was the Verizon Foundation's fourth annual Shower for the Shelter. The DVIS/Call Rape shelter has been the local recipient since the campaign launched in October of 2007.

The Verizon Foundation partnered with the National Network to End Domestic Violence to organize a collection drive at more than 300 Verizon-employee locations across the country - including Tulsa - to support 185 domestic violence shelters nationwide.

Thank you Verizon for your support of DVIS/Call Rape. These donations will make a real difference in the lives of so many domestic violence survivors and their children.

80 cents of every dollar goes directly to client services

•  $50 provides replacement clothing for 4 victims of sexual assault
• $100 provides safety planning for 50 protective order petitioners
• $500 provides hospital exams for 8 victims of sexual assault
• $1000 provides a month of emergency shelter for a child

We accept new and gently used clothing and small household items at our administrative offices. Donations can be dropped off at 4300 S. Harvard Ave, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Schools, businesses, places of worship, clubs, organizations, and friends can raise money and collect items to donate to our agency that will change many lives. Your gifts, your time, and your support make our work and our success possible.
