Sexual and domestic violence is a problem in our community...it impacts thousands of lives every year.  There is no typical victim. It can happen to anyone, male or female, at any time...it knows no racial, socioeconomic or age bounds.  
 
Prevention, intervention and education...each play a key part in the range of services DVIS provides to promote both internal personal and external systems change. The DVIS mission is to rebuild lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, shelter, counseling, and education.
