DVIS/Call Rape 2008 Statistics

We advocate to protect
Last year we provided advocacy for 443 sexual assault victims; 3,032 people seeking protective orders; and 25,230 crisis line calls.

We shelter to provide safety
Last year we sheltered 554 women and children at our emergency shelter and 42 women and children at our transitional living facility.

We counsel to promote healing
Last year we counseled 2,018 adult and 259 child survivors of domestic violence; 2,073 perpetrators of domestic violence; and 330 victims of sexual assault.

We educate to change attitudes
Last year we provided education and/or training to 5,259 adults and teens.
