About Us

Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Inc. (DVIS)/Call Rape, a Tulsa Area United Way agency, is the only nonprofit agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the surrounding communities to provide comprehensive intervention and prevention services to men, women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. The DVIS/Call Rape mission is to rebuild lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, shelter, counseling, and education.

Residential Services
Emergency shelter and transitional living for women and their children who are fleeing violent homes.

Legal Services
Protective orders, legal representation, and pro-bono legal service referrals for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.

Children's Counseling
Interactive therapy for children who have witnessed domestic violence, designed to re-establish a sense of trust and rebuild relationships with caregivers.

Outpatient Counseling
Provide walk-in crisis and long-term group and individual counseling for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Hospital Advocacy
Support, advocacy and information for victims during a hospital rape exam.

Abuser Counseling
Group counseling to encourage abusers to account for their behavior and to implement a plan to end their violent behavior.

Community Education  Speakers Bureau of trained staff and volunteers offer programs and presentations dealing with the cause and prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Faith Outreach Initiative
Outreach, training, and education in local faith communities to encourage collaboration and greater understanding
